Lighting Equipment Manufacturers Association, also known as AGID was established by 19 lighting fixtures and components manufacturers in 1997 to

• Create the identity awareness of the sector,
• Develop individual and collective connections between the sectoral representatives,
• Enhance institutional / academic connections through joint efforts and agreements,
• Complete the process of compliance with international standards,
• Represent Turkish manufacturers at international markets, and
• Protect consumer rights.

Turkish National Committee on Illumination

Turkish National Committee for lighting is a committee established in 1913, to bring the lighting specialists from all over the world together, in order to discuss the lighting and declare and issue suggestional decisions, based on the international agreements.

Zhaga Consortium

The Zhaga Consortium is a global lighting industry organization that aims to standardize the interfaces of LED luminaire components, including LED modules, LED arrays, holders, electronic control assembly (LED drivers), connectors, and sensing/communication modules. Cemdağ Lighting Group is a member of Zhaga Consortium “Associate”.

The International Dark Sky Association (IDA) is a United States-based non-profit organization founded in 1988 by David Crawford, a professional astronomer, and Tim Hunter, a doctor/amateur astronomer. IDA’s mission is “to preserve and sustain the nighttime environment and our dark sky heritage through quality outdoor lighting.

Light pollution has far-reaching consequences that are harmful to all living things. Effective outdoor lighting reduces light pollution, providing a better quality of life for everyone. The dark sky movement is working to provide better lighting all over the world so that all life can flourish.

Cemdağ Lighting Group is the first Turkish company in its industry to become a member of the International Dark-Sky Association.
